The division is dedicated to providing psychological and educational support to students. It aims to create a safe and balanced university environment that promotes mental well-being and positive behavior. The division offers individual and group counseling, diagnoses behavioral and academic issues, and develops therapeutic and awareness plans that enhance students’ adjustment to university life. It also organizes workshops, training programs, and educational lectures, in addition to coordinating with dormitory departments and relevant authorities to address urgent cases and build interactive relationships that contribute to developing students’ personalities and improving their life and academic skills.
Core Tasks:
- Providing individual and group psychological counseling to address behavioral, emotional, and social issues.
- Following up on special cases that require psychological or educational intervention and developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Identifying academic problems among students (such as academic delay, low motivation, and learning difficulties) and preparing supportive programs.
- Organizing awareness seminars and workshops on mental health, stress management, university adaptation, and life skills.
- Coordinating with dormitory departments to address housing-related issues and enhance a safe and balanced environment for students.
