University of Fallujah Hosts Workshop on "The Role of Transparency in Combating and Preventing Corruption"
Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah hosted, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, a workshop entitled "The Role of Transparency in Combating and Preventing Corruption in accordance with the Integrity and Anti-Graft Law", organized by the Federal Integrity Commission, represented by the Department of Education and Public Relations and the Investigations Department – Anbar Investigation Office.
The workshop was inaugurated on behalf of the University President by the Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nahla Naji Hilal, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, the Dean of the College of Education, and a number of faculty and administrative staff members.
During the workshop, Mr. Firas Hussein Ali delivered a lecture on the role of transparency in protecting society and institutions from corruption, as well as preventive mechanisms, in addition to clarifying the rights and duties of employees according to prevailing legislation.
This workshop is part of a series of initiatives implemented by the University of Fallujah to promote a culture of integrity and reinforce ethical values and proper professional conduct among university affiliates.
