University of Fallujah Continues Tree-Planting Campaigns at the New University City Site
Under the direct supervision and follow-up of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the University of Fallujah continues its dedicated efforts to expand green spaces and increase vegetation cover within the new university city, in implementation of the Iraqi National Afforestation Project launched by the Prime Minister’s Office.
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the university city witnessed a large-scale tree-planting campaign carried out by the Administrative Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities. The campaign included planting various types of seedlings aimed at enhancing green areas and improving both the environmental and aesthetic landscapes of the university campus.
In this regard, the University President emphasized that these initiatives represent a strategic step toward a sustainable university environment and align with the government’s directions to combat desertification and improve quality of life. He affirmed the university’s commitment to the continuity of afforestation efforts through regular plant care and irrigation, ensuring the success of the project and the achievement of its environmental and developmental goals.
