College of Veterinary Medicine Holds a Ceremony to Celebrate the Accreditation of Its Academic Programs
Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Fallujah, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a ceremony on Sunday, October 26, 2025, to celebrate the college’s achievement in obtaining conditional program accreditation. The event was attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suleiman Barak Al-Jumaili, the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Abd, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Mohammed Fayadh, the Dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shireen Hamid Farhan, along with a gathering of faculty and administrative staff.
In his address, the University President expressed his pleasure at this accomplishment, stating:
“It gives me great honor and pride to stand before you today in this blessed academic gathering to celebrate a new milestone in the journey of the University of Fallujah — the achievement of program accreditation by the College of Veterinary Medicine. This accomplishment reflects the university’s firm commitment to national and international standards of academic quality set forth by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and it embodies the sincere efforts of the college’s leadership, faculty, and staff in reaching this advanced level of academic and institutional excellence.”
The President added that program accreditation is not merely a certification of effort, but a recognition of the academic program’s competence and its ability to produce high-quality educational outcomes that contribute to community service and meet the needs of the sectors of animal wealth, public health, and applied scientific research.
He extended his sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and to the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority for their professional support and guidance in advancing accreditation across Iraqi universities. He also commended the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University Presidency for its continuous follow-up and efforts in fostering a culture of quality, and praised the College of Veterinary Medicine’s administration and staff for achieving this honorable success.
The University President emphasized that this achievement will serve as a catalyst for other colleges within the university to strive toward academic excellence and obtain program accreditation in their respective disciplines, thereby reinforcing the university’s mission of quality and academic empowerment. He reaffirmed the presidency’s commitment to providing full support for aligning with global developments in academic programs and digital transformation, in line with the requirements of smart universities and fourth-generation higher education standards.
At the conclusion of his speech, the President extended his heartfelt congratulations to the College of Veterinary Medicine and all university affiliates on this remarkable achievement, affirming that:
“The University of Fallujah is moving forward with confidence toward the future, guided by a sound academic vision and a mission rooted in the belief that quality is not a temporary stage, but a sustainable culture and an institutional approach we take pride in and build upon.”
For her part, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Mohammed Fayadh, expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University President, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and the Deans of the Colleges of Law, Islamic Sciences, and Education for their participation and continued support to the college.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, honored the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and the teaching and administrative staff. His Excellency presented a letter of appreciation in recognition of their efforts, which contributed to the achievement of this significant accomplishment.
