University of Fallujah Maintains Its Advanced Position in the 2025 Webometrics Global Ranking
The University of Fallujah has maintained its advanced standing in the 2025 edition of the Webometrics global ranking of universities, achieving 57th place among Iraqi public and private universities, and ranking 5,709th worldwide, according to the results published on the official ranking website:

In this context, His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, affirmed that the University of Fallujah’s retention of its distinguished position in the Webometrics global ranking is a clear testament to its deep commitment to academic and research excellence.
His Excellency expressed pride in this progress, appreciating the great efforts exerted by the university staff, especially the team at the Electronic Computing Center, who played a major role in achieving these honorable results.
The University President also highlighted that this achievement reflects the fruits of diligent work and strategic planning adopted by the university across its various academic and administrative sectors. He pointed out that the University of Fallujah continues to advance the quality of scientific research, develop its digital presence, and consolidate principles of transparency and openness, in line with its vision to reach the ranks of leading universities locally and internationally.
The Webometrics ranking is considered one of the most prominent international rankings for evaluating the performance of universities and higher education institutions. It is based on three main indicators: Visibility (50%), Transparency (10%), and Excellence in Scientific Research (40%). More than 32,000 academic institutions worldwide compete in this ranking.
