President of the University of Fallujah: Academic Accreditation is a Strategic Priority, and We Are Committed to Meeting Its Requirements in Accordance with National and International Standards
On Sunday, July 20, 2025, the President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, emphasized the importance of moving forward with the academic accreditation project for the College of Medicine—both at the institutional and programmatic levels—and working diligently to fulfill all its requirements. He affirmed that the University prioritizes this objective as part of its commitment to national and international standards aimed at ensuring the quality of education and enhancing its outcomes.
This statement came during his participation in a consultative meeting held by the Academic Accreditation Committee at the College of Medicine. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafe Alawi Fayadh, the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Jarad, along with the heads of the subcommittees responsible for monitoring the accreditation file.
The University President stated that the University of Fallujah has created all the necessary conditions to provide high-quality and rigorous university education that contributes to comprehensive development and improves graduate outcomes. This has been achieved through the provision of modern facilities and equipment aligned with recognized accreditation standards.
He added that the university is committed to achieving comprehensive quality across all programs and disciplines by fostering a creative and interactive academic environment, and by continuously developing curricula and academic plans in line with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad further stressed the need for concerted efforts to meet the requirements of the academic accreditation project within the designated timelines, pointing out that the successful completion of this project necessitates systematic efforts and meticulous documentation of all required procedures.
The meeting included a review of the necessary steps for preparing the program accreditation evaluation report and discussions regarding the arrangements for applying for the National Academic Accreditation Certificate for Medical Education. An official submission date was also agreed upon.
