Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Honors the Voluntary Work Team at the University of Fallujah
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, honored the University of Fallujah in recognition of its outstanding efforts in the field of voluntary work.
This recognition came as part of the First Conference on Voluntary Work 2025, held in the presence of the Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, university presidents, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a gathering of faculty members and students.
In his speech, His Excellency emphasized that the exceptional contributions of both public and private universities in voluntary work represent a living extension of the mission of higher education. He added that these achievements—recognized locally and globally—reflect the ministry’s active role in strengthening the values of social responsibility and in building a generation capable of sustainable giving.
Dr. Al-Aboudi further explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research continues to lead among state institutions in this domain, remaining committed to developing capacities, overcoming challenges, and intensifying efforts through programs designed to instill positive values within the sphere of societal awareness.
The Minister concluded the conference—which included a speech by Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, and a presentation session—by honoring the voluntary work teams from fifty universities. He noted that the strategic projects adopted by the ministry and the pioneering achievements accomplished over the past three years across Iraqi universities have strengthened and renewed the commitment that serving society remains the cornerstone of fulfilling national responsibility.
