President of the University of Fallujah Visits Cairo University to Discuss Ways to Enhance Academic and Scientific Cooperation
As part of his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University of Fallujah, paid a visit to Cairo University, where he was received by the President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadeq, along with a number of university officials.
Accompanying His Excellency on the visit were: Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Nahla Naji Hilal; Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohamed Jubair Muhidi; Dean of the College of Medicine, Associate Professor Dr. Rafi’ Alawi Fiyadh; Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Associate Professor Dr. Hadeel Mohamed Fiyadh; Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Associate Professor Dr. Muhannad Khalifa Ubaid; and Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Mustafa Adel.
During the meeting, the President of the University of Fallujah expressed his pleasure at the visit and conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, emphasizing the Minister’s keenness to strengthen scientific and cultural relations with the Arab Republic of Egypt and to open avenues for joint cooperation between Iraqi and Egyptian universities.
His Excellency also provided a brief overview of the University’s vision, mission, faculties, and research centers, highlighting the educational, research, and community roles it undertakes. He noted that the University of Fallujah prioritizes openness to successful international experiences and benefits from them to support academic, research, and innovative development.
In turn, the President of Cairo University warmly welcomed the President of the University of Fallujah and his accompanying delegation, affirming the University’s commitment to strengthening scientific and cultural relations and expanding avenues for joint cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation, develop joint programs, and exchange expertise in educational and research fields, in addition to exploring the possibility of signing cooperation protocols in scientific research and community service.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Presidents of both universities exchanged commemorative gifts, reflecting the depth of the scientific and cultural relations being established between the two academic institutions.
On the sidelines of the visit, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad and his accompanying delegation toured the Grand Hall of Cairo University and viewed its historical landmarks, which reflect the University’s longstanding heritage and distinguished academic status.
