University of Fallujah and Ain Shams University Sign Academic and Research Cooperation Protocol
The University of Fallujah and Ain Shams University have signed a joint cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening bilateral and strategic relations between the two institutions, activating collaboration in the fields of higher education and scientific research, and promoting the exchange of academic expertise and knowledge.
The signing ceremony took place at Ain Shams University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The protocol was signed on behalf of the University of Fallujah by its President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and on behalf of Ain Shams University by its President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin.
From the University of Fallujah, the ceremony was attended by: Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nahla Naji Hilal; Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Jubeir Mehidi; Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Khalifa Obeid; Dean of the College of Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rafea Alawi Fiyadh; Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Mohamed Fiyadh; Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Adel Abdulrahim; and faculty member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yaseen Eissa.
From Ain Shams University, the attendees included: Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel; Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar; Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Satoohi; Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Dr. Farid Moharram; and Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Dr. Sherwit Al-Ahmadi.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University of Fallujah, emphasized that the scientific cooperation agreement represents an important step in the path of joint Arab collaboration. He noted that the protocol aims to consolidate the scientific character of educational institutions and enhance the exchange of expertise and competencies between the two universities, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process and preparing a new generation of Arab graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills required to compete in the global labor market.
His Excellency extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Arab Republic of Egypt for the warm reception, commending the distinguished efforts exerted in supporting the internationalization of higher education and promoting regional integration.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, praised this distinguished academic partnership, stressing the university’s commitment to implementing the provisions of the agreement and facilitating the exchange of delegations and expertise, in a manner that positively impacts scientific research and the development of teaching and student staff at both universities.
The signing of this protocol affirms the deep fraternal relations between Iraq and Egypt and reflects the commitment of both universities to scientific openness and the exchange of experiences and knowledge to serve the educational process across the Arab world.
