University of Fallujah Celebrates the 93rd Iraqi National Day under the Motto: "Iraq… Our Glory and Pride"
Today, the University of Fallujah organized a national celebration marking the 93rd Iraqi National Day under the motto: "Iraq… Our Glory and Pride", under the patronage and presence of the esteemed University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, with the participation of the University’s Vice Presidents, Deans of Colleges, staff members, and students.
The ceremony, held in the gardens of the College of Administration and Economics within the Colleges Complex – Northern Sector, commenced with a parade of flags carrying the Iraqi national flag, the emblem of the Republic, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the University of Fallujah, signaling the start of activities imbued with love and loyalty to the homeland.
In his speech on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad emphasized that the National Day represents a symbol of pride, sovereignty, and national unity, and serves as an opportunity to recall Iraq’s journey filled with dedication and sacrifices. He highlighted that the University, in celebrating this occasion, reaffirms its role in instilling values of citizenship and fostering a sense of belonging among its students.
His Excellency also underscored the University’s commitment to providing a stimulating academic environment that enhances its mission to serve students and society, preparing qualified individuals capable of actively contributing to nation-building. He extended his congratulations to the University’s members and the noble Iraqi people on this joyous occasion.
The ceremony featured the performance of the Iraqi national anthem, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in remembrance of the souls of Iraq’s martyrs, and the distribution of Iraqi flags to students and participants.
