Ministerial Committee Visits University of Fallujah to Assess the Status of Its Scientific Laboratories
A specialized ministerial committee from the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the Presidency of the University of Fallujah on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The committee members were received by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Nahla Naji Hilal.
This visit was part of a series of periodic inspections aimed at evaluating the condition of chemical and biological laboratories in higher education institutions.
The committee conducted a field tour of the laboratories in the Colleges of Medicine, Applied Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. During the tour, they reviewed the availability of modern equipment and essential materials necessary for conducting laboratory experiments. They also inspected the chemical storage facilities, the procedures for handling and storing chemicals, and evaluated the safety protocols in place to ensure the well-being of students and faculty members.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee expressed its appreciation for the university's efforts in developing its laboratory infrastructure. The committee emphasized the importance of continuing to enhance safety measures and improving laboratory capabilities to support the quality of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
