Emblems hold highly symbolic meanings that indicate the goals of the institution it represents because they carry its intellectual dimensions. In light of this, we find that the UF emblem connote depth, authenticity and renewal.
The Iraqi Kufic Arabic calligraphy connects the university to its Arab roots and transnational belonging. The yellow ray refers to the rays of golden sunlight, emanating from the University of Fallujah alphabets, symbolizing the light of knowledge it offers, dispelling the darkness of ignorance and backwardness. These rays take the shape of a mosque dome, symbolizing the university's connection to its Islamic values and its scientific principle propelled from the mosques of our Islamic nation throughout its history.
The shapes of the alphabets "Alif" and "Lam" rise in the center of the beam of knowledge with grandeur, embracing each other to form the minaret of the mosque, crowned with a pen tip, an indication that knowledge and faith are intertwined in the elevation of humanity. They ascend into the sky, signifying the continuous evolution on the path of knowledge and service to humanity.
The straight line beneath the university's name signifies the straightness of direction, the strength of the founding documents, and the steadfastness of principles. The choice of green color signifies peace and prosperity, while the choice of black color signifies the ink of pens that enlightens the minds of thinkers and scholars.
At the bottom of the emblem, the dates of the university's founding are displayed in both the Islamic and Gregorian calendars, along with the university's name in English, expressing the university's openness to the world regardless of language and culture. The message of knowledge knows no boundaries, and diversity is a source of strength rather than a threat. The UF mission aims to reach all dimensions of humanity.
