Department of Monitoring and Internal Auditing

     Managed by the president office, the department was created on February, 02, 2015.  It since then started its auditing and oversight tasks.

The department is comprised of twin divisions:

  1. Financial Audit Division
  2. Administrative Audit and Reports follow-up


Department Personnel

  1. Department manager (MSc. in Accounting)
  2. Financial Audit Division Assistant manager (high school diploma holder)
  3. A personnel member with a BSc. in Accounting.

Mandate

The department aims to apply all due rules and regulations, which maintain and preserve the public treasure through the following procedures:

  1. Oversee and monitor the expenditure and revenue activities.
  2. Evaluate and feedback on the administrative work through monitoring of administrative and  

               Organizational processes and activities.

  1. Raise monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring reports to the senior administration.
  2. Conduct monitoring surprise site visits to academic and HQ departments.
  3. Conduct surprise periodical auditing on university departmental funds and storage units.  
  4. Audit the monthly budget and closing accounts.


 Department Objectives:

 The department aims to ensure the application of financial/non-financial laws and instructions in all financial and administrative activities   conducted at UoF HQ. The department also aims to control the financial resources and revenues received by the university financial units. The   department also aims that all these units apply and comply with due relevant rules and instructions in a manner that fulfills the department   mission in preserving and protecting the public treasure.


Department Vision

  The department seeks to optimize the personnel job performance as well as compliance with due rules and regulations to realize job     transparency and objectivity in all financial, administrative and legal procedures.
